On 28 September 2017 the TECHNÈS doctoral committee organised a lecture by the sound engineer François Musy. Entitled Enregistrer le son au cinéma,this lecture was organised in collaboration with the cinema department of the École cantonale d’art de Lausanne (ECAL) on 28 September at 6:00 p.m. in ECAL’s Ikea Auditorium.

François Musy has worked with Jean-Luc Godard since 1982 and was responsible for the sound on films such as PassionDétective andNouvelle vague. More recently, he collaborated with Xavier Giannoli on Quand j’étais chanteur and Marguerite, films which won the César award for best sound in 2007 and 2016.
