On March 5, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Maison de la recherche in Paris 3 (4 rue des Irlandais, metro: Place Monge), the TECHNÈS international research partnership team invites you to a meeting around the online Encyclopedia of film techniques. A first version of the database and the public interface, as well as content (texts by researchers, 3D digitizations of cinematographic devices, interviews filmed with technicians, etc.) linked to several thematic parcours (animation on film at the NFB, direct cinema, editing during the silent period, re-use cinema, etc.) will be succinctly presented.
