TECHNÈS is inviting papers for the doctoral conference “Gestes singuliers, gestes collectifs: histoire et cinéma en pratiques,” being held Thursday 26 and Friday 27 September 2019 at the Université de Montréal, with the special participation of Charles Acland, Simone Natale and Katharina Niemeyer.

This conference, taking place under the aegis of the international partnership TECHNÈS, is open to any doctoral student at the Université de Lausanne (Histoire et esthétique du cinéma section), the Université de Montréal (Cinéma et jeu vidéo section of the Département d’histoire de l’art et d’études cinématographiques) and Université Rennes 2 (Département Arts du spectacle – cinema option).
