An honorary doctorate for André Gaudreault

The director of TECHNÈS, André Gaudreault, has received an honorary doctorate from Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3. This latest distinction was bestowed on him on 14 March 2019 by the University’s president, Patrick Gilli, for having “ceaselessly contributed to the great recognition of cinema studies and of cinema as an artistic experience in its own right . . . but also as a unique scholarly subject of enquiry.” The ceremony took place at the La Vignette theatre.
